Pastor Thomas Mammoser
LONG-TERM SUPPLY CLERGY
Pastor Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music History from Bowling Green State University in 1980. He married Sandy Dierksheide that same year, and they have one daughter, Claire. He graduated from Trinity Lutheran Seminary with a Master of Divinity and was ordained in the American Lutheran Church in 1984. He served in a parish in Rogers City from 1984 to1989 and then studied Patristics (Early Church Theology) at the University of Virginia. From 1997 to 2018, he served as Pastor at Peace Lutheran Church in Gaylord and retired from the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in 2018. In addition to serving as long-term supply at St. Francis’ Episcopal Church in Grayling, he also works part-time as a public guardian and conservator for the Otsego County Probate Court. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, reading, and playing piano.
Kim is responsible for day-to-day office work as well as other financial duties. In addition, she also creates our Sunday Worship Bulletins. Kim has vast experience in working confidentially with the public to help meet their needs using local resources. She brings professionalism and compassion to our office at St. Francis'.
ALTAR GUILD DIRECTOR
Retired teacher Pat Wiltse, works in unison with Judy Woodland, Susanne Mueller, Charlotte Bloomquist and Carolyn Rakoczy in accomplishing Altar Guild duties. Pat also teams up with Judy Woodland and Doug Wilson to oversee the St. Francis Thrift Shop.
MUSICIAN and ORGANIST
Dennis has been the organist at St. Francis' since February, 2002. He is native to Michigan having grown up in the St. Clair area. Dennis graduated from St. Clair County Community College and after completing 3 ½ years on active duty with the U.S. Navy Band he went on to graduate from Wayne State University in Detroit. Presently, he is a resident of Lewiston and owner of Lewiston Shady Acres Campground & Cottages. Dennis is a member of the Cherry Capital Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Dennis and his wife Dorothy are retired from the Navy and Army National Guard.
DIRECTOR OF THE ST. FRANCIS THRIFT SHOP
Jackie has been in Grayling for over 22 years. She raised four children in the community with her husband of 24 years. Jackie enjoys working with St. Francis' Episcopal Church and others in the community in order to benefit Crawford County.
