Winter Updates: Vestry, Ash Wednesday, and Help Center

On Sunday, February 4, the vestry appointed DeAnne Swiercz as senior warden, Pat Kucharek as junior warden, and Henry Lester as a vestry member.

"We are honored and excited to be able to support our parish and campus," DeAnne wrote in an email. "Please feel free to contact myself or another vestry member at any time with questions or comments." 

In other news, it was decided at the Annual Parish Meeting to put a collection basket for the Help Center out at each monthly brunch.

"They are BADLY in need of funds," Judy Woodland wrote in an email, "We thought this would be a great way for people to donate any pocket change or the like. We will probably send them a check quarterly."

Also, the Ash Wednesday service will take place on February 14 at 5 p.m. with Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes.

And finally, a reminder that the Sunday, February 11, service has been canceled due to illness among parish members. Prayers and love are being sent to all those who are ill!
